with such a belly could pose,
smiling, and without a shirt.
I just like that it's short and sweet, and to the point. The last three lines just crack me up everytime.
Some of the lengthier poems at times seemed to drag on, which could also be why I liked this one so much. There wasn't one poem that I didn't like, but this one just sticks out in my mind.

I liked this poem a lot too and I agree some of the longer ones were a little bit hard to follow after a while but even though this book was a tad strange I liked it too.
ReplyDeleteThe last three lines really are funny. I sometimes wonder that too. I seemed to like the stranger poems and I agree the longer poems sometimes dragged.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed the book and enjoyed the ease that came from reading it but did struggle to find deeper meaning in some of the poems. That is funny!
